COVID-19 Important Information
In light of the current status in the UK with the COVID-19 pandemic we have implemented some changes to how we are managing our patient care.
We have temporarily suspended general access to the building please do not attend the surgery. However please be reassured we are still here if you need us, we are trying to conduct most appointments over the phone and email is another option. We are also looking into video consultations.
If you need to speak to a GP please call the surgery and speak to the reception team on 01223 423424 they will be able to assist you with arranging a telephone consultation.
If you need to order medication there are a number of ways you can do this without attending the surgery these are as follows;
- email your request to us at firstname.lastname@example.org , please remember to include the patients name and date of birth .
- You can also use our 24hr automated telephone ordering system (you will require a PIN number for this service this can be arranged for you over the phone by reception).
- You can also send a request through the post (please include a SAE if you wish us to post back to you)
- If you have a System Online account or the NHS app you can order your medication via these methods.
For our more vulnerable (at risk groups) patients we are restricting appointments to our morning clinics to reduce the risk of exposure.
We would like to thank you for your patience and co-operation at this difficult time.

Covid 19 Prescription Intervals and Quantities
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and in line with Cambridgeshire & Peterborough CCG advice, the way in which you request your repeat medication has changed. You no longer need to request your medication from the surgery. Instead, your surgery has issued a 28 day repeat (batch) prescription or eRD to your nominated pharmacy.
Please contact your pharmacy a few days prior to needing your next prescription to allow them time to order and dispense your medication. Pharmacy staff will ask extra questions to check you do not have any side effects. If you do not need every item on your prescription, you will need to inform them. The eRD service is to reduce the need for unnecessary travel at this time, and to reduce burden on the GP surgery while we continue to meet the needs of our patient population and reduce the risk of potential dug shortages. Further information may be found via the hyperlink below. We understand you may have questions about this service but ask that you try not to contact the surgery unless necessary, please read the information carefully, or if unable to access, please ask a friend or family member to help.
